    RESPONSIBILITIES
    1.    VAT In & VAT Out are reviewed, accurately calculated, recorded, and reported on timely basis.
    2.    Valid VAT In & VAT Out documentation are properly documented for internal and external purposes.
    3.    To cooperate with internal and external parties for compliance on VAT.
    4.    Personal income tax art 21, WHT art 22, 23 and 4 (2) are accurately calculated, recorded and reported on timely basis.
    5.    Tax receipt (Bukti Potong) received and issued are well documented.
    6.    Tax receipt (Bukti Potong) are accurately calculated, received from and distributed to related parties
    7.    Annual report IT 21 is accurately calculated, recorded and reported on timely basis
    8.    Annual report CIT is accurately calculated, recorded and reported on timely basis
    9.    Annual report CIT and its supporting documents (included softcopies) are well documented.
    10.    To review and decide any objection, appeal, etc. process which should be taken by company.
    11.    To follow up any objection, appeal, etc. process, supporting with data, documentation, etc.
    12.    To file all related documentation of objection, appeal, etc. properly.
    13.    To update fixed assets list with any additional, disposal, write off and transfer of fixed assets. Update the depreciation. Both in commercial and fiscal sides.
    14.    Any tax obligation or right are recorded accurately, on timely basis and comply to PSAK, included the deferred tax assets/liabilities.
    15.    To prepare monthly reconciliation (and annual equalitation) of VAT Out vs Sales, WHT Art 23 vs Service & Non Rental Property Exp., WHT Art 4 (2) vs Property Rent Exp., IT Art 21 vs Employee Benefit Exp., and tax related reconciliation.
    16.    To support other department/branch of information of taxation, tax rate, tax compliance, etc. as long as acknowledged by the superior.
    17.    To prepare data for external party (for external auditor or tax auditor), as long as acknowledged by the superior.
    18.    To liase with tax AR, tax office, tax consultant, and tax auditor for company business purposes.
    19.    To participate in budgeting and forecasting for tax expenses (consultant and other fees), cash flow projection of taxation
    20.    Participation in formulation and improvement of accounting policies and procedures, especially in tax compliance
    21.    Tax Planning
    22.    To maintain tax data base in the ERP system and update it, if necessary.
    23.    To support company if any assignment is necessary to be performed.
    24.    Proper filing of tax correspondence, documentation and journal voucher are well managed
    25.    Provide data for tax audit
    26.    Provide analysis for tax audit
    27.    Communication with tax consultant
    28.    To revise tax report
    29.    To monitor coordinate and follow up art 21, 23, 4(2), of Branches
    30.    Maintain taxation set-up in the ERP
     
    AUTHORITIES
    ▪    To represent Finance & Accounting Dept. on her/his best capacity to manage/overcome tax/custom related issues with Tax/Customs authority, or third party like Supplier & Customers.
    ▪    Able to access ERP for G/L and related modules.  Otherwise, prior approval would be required from Business Controller
     
    EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
    Accounting degree (S1), Brevet A & B
     
    EXPERIENCE
    5 - 10 years as Tax Accountant / Specialist;
     
    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL
    ▪    Having good proficient knowledge & experience on accounting/ management/banking or relevant subject
    ▪    Familiar with Tax & Customs regulations
    ▪    Required language(s): English.
    ▪    Good command in English
    ▪    Excellent Computer skills;
    ▪    Exposure to ERP environment
