    MISSION
    You will be part of the Business Control Team that supports the reporting and consolidation process and several financial applications / reporting tools. In this role you will focus on continuous enhancement of the service and customer satisfaction.
    You will report to Finance Manager & Business Controller.
     
    JOB DESCRIPTION
    1.    Support the monthly reporting process ensuring smooth data flow from different systems.
    2.    Support maintenance of different applications and reports.
    3.    Solve various ad hoc issues raised by internal
    4.    Assist to follow up and analyse the business and running daily matters.
    5.    Assist on the group reporting.
    6.    Actively point out any deviations found in daily reports and reaction on nonconformities.
    7.    Examine the unique needs and concerns of a business to develop relevant practices and procedures for preparing business reports.
    8.    Includes creating and maintaining efficient and secure systems for recording data and producing relevant documentation.
    9.    Designs, implements, and maintains the analytical processes and reporting and analytics supporting services, understanding of its operational performance, as well as metrics, and utilization and cost performance, etc. of its key service lines
    10.    Translates information needs and requirements into functional specifications, review the specifications, develop test plan for projects, and test data.
    11.    Understands the structure of data in the enterprise information systems workflow.
    12.    Conduct regular audits of IT Customer Support Services data and report on issues to be corrected and ensure the appropriate people are viewing the correct data.
    13.    Conduct ongoing training on the available reports and how to access them to the Internal  Customer staff and other IT Support Services groups.
    14.    To perform any project relating to business process, to monitor the performance of activity plan, and to analyze ratio relating to efficiency level and company profit.
    15.    Accountability for completion of significant and complex data analysis activities in support of approved Restitution investigations.
    16.    Assist in the analysis of business requirements to assess the data impacts and define refund calculation strategy in conjunction with other Business stakeholders.
    17.    Be recognised externally for excellence in data and analytics
    18.    Develop an understanding of the business and its operations to enable us to provide an accurate data perspective on any business requirements specification and prioritise the delivery of relevant data analysis items.
    19.    Manage relationships with the business to ensure that the data is interpreted and validated correctly and work with them to develop an optimal solution design.
    20.    Understand how data is organised within database/file management systems and how to access/manage it appropriately
     
    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    •    A person who had first professional experience in in reporting with interest in IT or a person who had first technical experience with interest and knowledge of financial systems/processes.
    •    Overall knowledge / working experience with T-SQL (odbc queries against sql server based ERP system for financial and operational reports).
    •    Excel expert (VBA, advanced formulas, advanced formatting).
    •    Good IT skills, specifically in financial applications.
    •    Able to work in a complex and fast moving business environment.
    •    Accuracy is needed with an emphasis on attention to details.
    •    Ability to combine multiple activities whilst prioritizing work to meet specific deadlines.
    •    Ability to work in a global team covering different time zones.
    •    Ability to build up a strong network and good relationships.
    •    Fluent in English
    •    Must have 5-10 years’ experience in delivering data change related projects with extensive experience in provision of complex data analysis outputs to satisfy Business needs.
    •    Proven ability to work constructively alongside a variety of Business areas coupled with a willingness to challenge and address failings in existing Business processes.
    •    Must have proven ability in working to tight deadlines with experience of supporting Regulatory Data demand.
    •    Must have an advanced level of Teradata SQL coupled with proven ability in the area of problem solving. Knowledge of mainframe and JCL would be a distinct advantage
    •    Must have strong knowledge of Project Management Methodologies including Agile framework as utilised in AIB with a proven track record in leading the design and delivery of Data solutions.
     
    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    •    Accounting or finance background is a plus.
    •    Fluency in English, spoken and written.
    •    Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    •    Presentation skills.
